On August 23-25, the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Elderly Care and Health Industry Expo opened at the Guangzhou Canton Fair Exhibition Hall. The Department of Civil Affairs of Shaanxi Province was invited to form a delegation to attend the conference, exchange and promote in Guangzhou.

The delegation was led by Wang Yongquan, a second level inspector from the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. More than ten people attended, including representatives from the Elderly Care Industry Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Weinan Civil Affairs Bureau, Yulin Elderly Health Service Center and other cities, representatives from some outstanding elderly care enterprises such as China Railway First Group Urban Operation Co., Ltd., and representatives from Shaanxi Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center Group Co., Ltd.

After attending the opening ceremony of the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Elderly Care and Health Industry Expo, the delegation observed and learned from the exhibition area, had in-depth exchanges with exhibitors and enterprises, promoted the Xi'an Elderly Care Expo, and invited enterprises to develop in Shaanxi. The delegation also visited the Guangzhou Smart Health and Wellness (Elderly friendly) Equipment Exhibition and Experience Center to observe and learn about the development of smart health and wellness equipment in advanced cities. During the observation and learning process, the delegation actively invited a large number of merchants to participate in the second Xi'an International Elderly Care Industry Expo, which will be held in Xi'an from October 11-13.

The 2nd Xi'an International Elderly Care Industry Expo 2024 will be held from October 11th to 13th at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center. Hosted by the Xi'an Municipal People's Government and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, and organized by the Xi'an Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs, Xi'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Xi'an Chanba International Port Management Committee, Guangdong Kuaicai Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Shaanxi Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center Group Co., Ltd., with the theme of "Silver Hair Economy and Better Life", the exhibition covers an area of 32000 square meters, with 10 themed exhibition areas and more than 20 peak forum activities held at the same time. It actively creates a western health and wellness reception hall and a "central and western silver hair economy cluster area", establishes the city's brand IP as a health and wellness destination and exhibition city in Xi'an, and is committed to becoming an unmissable feast for the elderly care industry in the western region, even in the country and internationally.
