On December 2nd, the "First China Aging Industry Science and Technology Conference" jointly hosted by the China Aging Industry Association and Shaanxi Aging Industry Association was successfully held in Xi'an. More than 300 people attended the meeting, including leaders from the China Association on Aging, leaders from departments such as the Civil Affairs, Science and Technology, Health Commission, Industry and Information Technology, and State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shaanxi Province and Xi'an City, leaders from the China Association for the Aging Industry, China Association for Social Welfare and Elderly Care Services, and social organizations related to the elderly in more than 20 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) nationwide, research institutions such as Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, and Northwest University, as well as leaders from nearly a hundred enterprises such as Huawei and Tencent. The Executive Committee of the Wuhan Elderly Expo set up a booth at the venue to interact and exchange ideas with elderly associations and technology enterprises in various provinces and cities. The organizer of the Wuhan Elderly Expo, the Hubei Elderly Industry Association, was invited to attend the conference, and the Secretary General of the association, Yan Wei, attended to discuss hot topics such as the development of elderly industry technology and trends in the silver development economy industry.

The theme of the conference is "Charm Technology, Quality Silver Age, Happy China". Ge Yangnian, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Secretary of the Provincial Social Organization Party Committee, and Yang Shihong, Second level Inspector of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, stated that the first Elderly Industry Science and Technology Conference was held in Xi'an, and Xi'an was designated as the permanent venue for the conference, which fully affirmed and encouraged the development of the elderly industry science and technology in Shaanxi. Especially in the construction of the Silver Hair Economic Industrial Park and the "Double Ten, Double Hundred, and Three Thousand" project (which aims to cultivate 10 listed companies in the elderly care industry, 10 silver hair economic industrial parks, 100 chain operated elderly care institutions, 100 leading enterprises in the elderly care industry, 1000 elderly training schools, 1000 dementia care zones, and 1000 elderly consumer product brands), comprehensive integration of technological elements is being carried out to promote high-quality development of the silver hair economy with the power of technology.

The on-site event is full of practical knowledge and highlights. The China Aging Industry Association, Shaanxi Aging Industry Association, and related aging industry technology enterprises jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement; Six universities, including the China Aging Industry Association, Shaanxi Aging Industry Association, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, as well as four leading technology enterprises in the aging industry, jointly launched the "Aging Industry Technology Innovation and Development Alliance" and released the "China Aging Industry Technology Development Report".

At the meeting, nearly 50 leading research institutions and enterprises in the aging industry showcased their latest anti-aging technology products. At the conference site, the booth of Wuhan Old Expo received widespread attention from attending leaders, guests, and business representatives, gathering numerous enterprises to stop and consult, seeking cooperation opportunities.

The first Central (Wuhan) International Elderly Care and Health Industry Expo and Central Silver Hair Economic Development Cooperation and Exchange Conference will be held from April 25th to 27th, 2025 at the Wuhan International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition area is 20000 square meters, and 300 brand exhibitors are planned to be invited. It is expected to attract 50000 professional visitors to visit and purchase. At the same time, the Silver Age Art Festival, Silver Hair Consumption Festival, and more than ten themed forum activities will be held.
