On the morning of October 26th, the office of Xiaogan City Working Committee for the Elderly organized a seminar (in filial piety) and a group of old cadres (associations) to discuss the preparations for the 2018 Old Expo and mobilized the old cadres to organize a visit to the 2018 Old Expo. Liu Gaogang, Party Secretary and Director of the Office of the Elderly Working Committee of Xiaogan City, presided over the meeting, from the Provincial Calligraphers Association, the Municipal Care for the Next Generation Work Committee, the Municipal Nuclear Industry Geology Bureau, the Municipal Senior Citizens' Sports Association, the Municipal Old District Construction Promotion Association, and the Municipal Elderly Painting and Calligraphy Research Association. The heads of the first-level organization of more than 10 veteran cadres, such as Xiaonan District Senior University, attended the meeting.

Director Liu Gaogang and the relevant officials of the old club informed the leaders of the old cadres who attended the meeting about the progress of the preparations for the 2018 Old Expo and related activities, and the measures for the elderly, and conveyed the "2018" issued by the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department with the consent of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. The Notice on the Arrangement of the Activities of the Xiao Culture Tourism Festival requires all localities and trade union organizations at all levels to refer to the relevant regulations of the cadres and workers in the spring (autumn) tour, and organize cadres, the masses and retired veterans to visit the old fair.

The heads of the old cadres at the meeting expressed their welcome and expectation to the old fair held at the entrance of the home. They expressed great interest and enthusiasm for the wonderful activities and rich preferential measures on the site of the old fair. They all expressed their will respond to the requirements of the Notice. Do a good job in propaganda and mobilization of the unit and the group as well as subordinate associations and branches, and organize members to actively visit the old club activities.
