The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the "Work Plan for Promoting the High-quality Development of Digital Technology for Aging", proposing that by the end of 2025, the standard and specification system for digital technology for aging will be more perfect, the scale of digital technology for aging transformation will be effectively expanded, the level will continue to deepen, the quality of digital products and services supply and user experience will be significantly improved, and the industrial ecology of deep integration across industries will be more mature. A high-quality development pattern of multi-party coordination, balanced supply and demand, guaranteed in place, and accessible services with digital technologies suitable for aging has basically taken shape, and the sense of gain, happiness and security of the elderly in the development of information technology has steadily improved.

According to the "Status and Development Report on Care Services for the Elderly with cognitive Disorder" released by the China Association on Aging, there are about 15.07 million people with cognitive disorder in China aged 60 and above, and the number of people with cognitive disorder is expected to reach 22.2 million in 2030. The higher the degree of aging, the higher the prevalence of cognitive disorders will be. With the deepening of the aging degree in China, the professional care of cognitive disorders has become a great challenge in the care of the elderly. Under the guidance of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the Development of the National Cause for Aging and the Elderly Service System, various localities have successively introduced policies related to cognitive disorders, carried out relevant training and encouraged elderly care institutions to build special areas for cognitive disorders and cognitive-friendly communities.
