On September 29, the second Xi 'an Old Expo counted down 12 days, and the Xi 'an Civil Affairs Bureau held the work arrangement and deployment meeting of the second Xi 'an International Elderly Care Industry Expo to ensure that the activities of the Expo were standardized, orderly and smooth.

Members of the Party group of Xi 'an Civil Affairs Bureau, Deputy Director Kong Weilong, the office of the Civil Affairs Bureau, the Office of aging work, the elderly Service Office, the city development Center for aging and Guangdong Cross-mining Exhibition Co., LTD., the director of the civil affairs department of various districts, counties and development zones, and the chief of the elderly (aging) section attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Zheng Fu, general manager of Guangdong Cross-Mining Exhibition Co., Ltd. reported the overall preparation of the second Xi 'an Old Expo. First, the recruitment work has been basically completed. The total exhibition area of the Expo is 26,000 square meters, of which the main venue is 16,000 square meters in Xi 'an International Convention and Exhibition Center, with 9 theme exhibition areas and nearly 200 exhibitors; The sub-venue will set up 10,000 square meters in Yinfa Economic and Industrial Park, focusing on holding Shaanxi 2024 "Respect for the Elderly" carnival and elderly culture and art exhibition and setting up the first elderly gathering. Second, the exhibition activities are colorful. During the exhibition, there will be an opening ceremony, 10 keynote forums and 5 themed activities, including the 2024 Xi 'an International Silver Economic Development Exchange Conference and other activities. Third, the audience invitation has increased. Civil affairs systems and related associations from 34 provinces and municipalities participated in the conference. Each district and county of Xi 'an will organize no less than 200 elderly people to visit.

Wang Dali, Director of the Elderly Work Department of the Civil Affairs Bureau, and Ren Ming, director of the Elderly Service Department, respectively made detailed division of labor arrangements for the exhibition of exhibitors, audience reception, forum activities, publicity and promotion of the old Expo. Deputy Director Kong Weilong made a concluding speech, affirming the progress of the old Expo at this stage, and stressed that all units should strengthen communication and adhere to high standards.

On September 30, Li Pingwei, secretary of the Party Group and director of the Xi 'an Civil Affairs Bureau, once again convened and presided over the work arrangement and deployment meeting to make detailed implementation arrangements for the work requirements put forward by Li Zhiyuan, Secretary of the Party Group and director of the Shaanxi Provincial Civil Affairs Department, at the mobilization meeting of the "Two Sessions and one activity" of the Shaanxi Provincial Civil Affairs Department, emphasizing that each preparatory work should be done well to create high-quality and high-level events.
