On March 4th, the 5th Campus Open Day of Guangzhou Senior Cadre University (Guangzhou Senior University) was held at Xiaoyuan Campus. Liu Yuelun, former chairman and president of the Guangzhou Municipal Political Consultative Conference, Liu Mei, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee, director of the Elderly Cadres Bureau, and first level inspector, Lu Sen, deputy director of the Elderly Cadres Bureau of the Municipal Party Committee, and nearly 4000 elderly friends, representatives of various branch schools, elderly cadres of municipal units, experts and teams from silver hair think tanks, inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, enterprises related to aging products, and media personnel from provinces and cities participated in the event.

The 9th China (Guangzhou) International Elderly Health Industry Expo and the first Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Silver Age Art Festival (referred to as the "Silver Age Art Festival") have launched registration on campus open days, and the on-site response has been enthusiastic. The recruitment booth was lively and crowded, attracting many elderly friends who signed up on the spot.

Principal Liu Yuelun and his delegation visited the campus, classrooms, and recruitment booths for the art festival, and highly praised the innovative regional design, exciting cultural performances, rich experiential activities, and lively and joyful atmosphere of the open day. They encouraged the school to continue to play a demonstrative and leading role, actively explore new models and paths for elderly education and elderly cultural development, and provide valuable experience for the high-quality development of elderly education in the city and even the whole country.

The Silver Age Art Festival, with the theme of "Wonderful Silver Age Colorful Activities", is positioned as a "regional linkage+cultural exchange" function. It is jointly initiated by the Executive Committee of China (Guangzhou) International Elderly Health Industry Expo and Guangzhou Senior Cadre University, to build a new bridge for talent display and cultural exchange, and to help the elderly achieve their beautiful vision of learning, enjoying and contributing in their old age.

The 9th China (Guangzhou) International Elderly Health Industry Expo and the first Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Silver Age Art Festival are scheduled to be held from August 22nd to 24th in Zone B of the Canton Fair Exhibition Hall. The final of the Silver Age Art Festival will make a wonderful appearance as an important unit of the 9th Guangzhou Elderly Expo.

The organizing committee will conduct a months long cultural and artistic team selection in 11 cities in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and organize a professional judging panel to select outstanding elderly performing arts groups for promotion. The advanced team will not only compete for the championship of the art festival finals during the Guangzhou Senior Expo, but also form the "Silver Age Cultural Mission" in the Greater Bay Area to conduct tours and exchanges in the central and western regions, showcasing the spirit of "art and elderly care integration" among the elderly in the new era.
