At the meeting, Zhang Chi, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, gave a speech full of expectations for future cooperation between Guangdong and Jilin provinces, as well as between provinces across the country. He put forward four suggestions on the current severe aging situation, the diversified and personalized elderly care service needs of the elderly, and the transformation of the civil affairs department from protecting special elderly people to serving all elderly people's functions.
