On January 5, 2024, after concluding the symposium with the Guizhou Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the Guangdong Silver Age Industry Research Institute, in conjunction with the Organizing Committee of the China International Elderly Health Industry Expo, led a delegation of health and wellness enterprises to the People's Government of Qiandongnan Prefecture for a symposium and the Kaili Welfare Institute for on-site inspection, to carry out docking and exchange of the health and wellness industry in Qiandongnan Prefecture.

The exchange symposium was chaired by Huang Li, Deputy Director of the Office of the People's Government of Qiandongnan Prefecture. Zhang Huailong, Secretary of the Party Group of the State Civil Affairs Bureau, Fu Zhiguang, Deputy County Cadre of the State Investment Promotion Bureau, Liang Yuzhong, Director of the State Forestry Ecological Restoration and Utilization Center, Wu Ya, Deputy Director of the State Health Bureau, Long Hui, Deputy Director of the State Culture, Sports, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, Huang Dan, Deputy Director of the State Government Office in Guangzhou, Chen Zhixin, Deputy Director of the State Cultural Tourism and Health Industry Investment Promotion Office, Kaili City, Leishan County, Majiang County, Jianhe County, and Congjiang County Investment Promotion Bureaus The main person in charge or responsible leaders of the Civil Affairs Bureau attended the symposium.

At the meeting, Hong Wenchao, Executive Director of Guangdong Silver Age Industry Research Institute and Director of the Executive Committee of China International Elderly Health Industry Expo, introduced his intention to lead a delegation to Qiandongnan Prefecture for inspection. Director Hong Wenchao stated in his speech that the inspection only took one week from the official project approval to the final implementation, but it received active participation from health and wellness enterprises across the country. This not only reflects the execution ability of the EE Expo Organizing Committee, but also demonstrates the importance and optimism of national health and wellness enterprises towards the health and wellness industry in Guizhou and Qiandongnan Prefecture. Qiandongnan Prefecture has natural and great advantages in developing the health and wellness industry due to its beautiful mountains and waters, beautiful scenery, and rich ethnic minority characteristics. Especially, the state government is actively creating a health and elderly care demonstration state, which is of great significance to health and elderly care enterprises.

Vice Director Huang Li stated in her speech that this symposium has broadened our understanding of the elderly care and health industry, explored the ideas and directions for future cooperation in the health care industry, and is of great significance for the development of the health care industry in Qiandongnan Prefecture in the future. Next, the Civil Affairs Bureau of the prefecture should carefully analyze the situation of elderly care in the entire prefecture, fully leverage the advantages of Qiandongnan prefecture, focus on the elderly care and health industry, and deepen cooperation between Guangdong and Guizhou.
