Moving from "City Events" to "Bay Area Stage"

The Guangzhou Silver Age Art Festival was founded in 2025, advocated by Guangzhou University of the Elderly and jointly organized by Guangzhou Daily Press Group (Guangzhou Daily), China International Elderly Health Industry Expo, and Guangzhou Yuewei Silver Hair Vitality Research Institute. The first event lasted for more than 7 months and attracted more than 30000 elderly friends to participate. It was supported by multiple government agencies, industry associations, and elderly related enterprises, and the online dissemination reached millions, becoming an important platform for integrating silver hair resources, promoting elderly education, elderly care, and the integrated development of the silver hair economy.

This year's competition has achieved comprehensive quality improvement, officially moving from a "city event" to a "bay area stage". The competition has improved quality and efficiency in four aspects: the projects have increased from 4 categories to 6 categories, with richer content; The activity area has been expanded to 11 cities in the Bay Area, covering a wider range; The reward standards have significantly increased, making it more attractive; The channels for transforming achievements have been further expanded, with more diverse forms, striving to truly achieve an event that drives a group of people, prospers a cause, and activates a market.

This year's Guangzhou Silver Age Art Season has been upgraded to a Bay Area Invitational Competition. It is not only a deep practice of implementing the positive aging concept and the concept of healthy aging, but also an innovative move to promote the implementation and effectiveness of "learning, enjoying, and contributing to the elderly". It is also a beneficial exploration to integrate social resources, promote the deep integration of elderly literature and tourism industry, and empower the development of cultural economy. The event organizing committee will adhere to the spirit of the early Republic of China, highlight the public welfare, mass character, and timeliness, build the art season into a progressiveness, representative, and influential social and cultural feast, and integrate the silver age culture into the urban development and boost the prosperity of the Bay Area.
