In addition to physical exhibitions, this elderly care expo also carefully plans and organizes nearly 30 themed forum activities around 12 hot topics such as "smart elderly care, aging adaptation transformation, medical care integration, elderly care talent cultivation, and elderly care innovation", providing high-level communication and exchange platforms for experts and merchants such as academic discussions, promotional displays, and economic and trade negotiations.

This year's CIIE invited government leaders, industry experts, scholars, and industry leaders such as the Social Welfare Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province, the Labor and Welfare Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Du Peng, Vice President of Renmin University of China, and Peter Manu Ousu, Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Ghana in Guangzhou, to gather together for sharing and interpreting cutting-edge industry development hotspots, and a series of exciting and practical conference and forum activities, Conduct multi-level dialogues.

The Guangzhou Elderly Care Expo was founded in 2017. Under the correct leadership of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government, and with the strong support and promotion of various sectors of society, the Expo has grown into a mature and well-known elderly care brand event in the Bay Area, with an exhibition scale ranking at the forefront of national elderly care exhibitions. Guangzhou showcases the achievements of urban elderly care and is an important platform for cooperation and exchange in the elderly care industry with domestic and foreign cities. This year's Guangzhou Old World Expo received strong support from superior departments and leaders such as the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. It attracted nearly 70 civil affairs delegations from overseas, Hong Kong, Macau, and domestic provinces, cities, counties, and districts, as well as dozens of business associations, with increasing influence.
