From September 19th to 21st, the 3rd Xi'an International Elderly Care Industry Expo (referred to as the "Xi'an Elderly Expo") with the theme of "Qin style Silver Age · Yi Yang Chang'an" was held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center. Yangling Demonstration Zone organized 9 enterprises including Yingtong Dairy, Shengquan Dairy, Green Health Food, Shengsang, Zhongxiang Jiahua Camel Milk Powder, Jiuwei Health, Longxing Group, Feige Fig, Zhongxing Mushroom Industry, and Huiren Hospital to participate in the exhibition, which received widespread attention and praise from the attending audience.

The exhibition area of Yangling covers an area of 135 square meters, with a focus on aging friendly transformation, improving the quality and efficiency of rural mutual aid and happiness homes, and urban day care centers, showcasing the development achievements of Yangling's elderly care industry. At the same time, in order to broaden their horizons, enhance their abilities, and learn from the advanced, the two levels of civil affairs departments have also organized civil affairs system cadres and staff, elderly care service institutions, and elderly care enterprises to observe and learn from the latest trends in industry development, and jointly witness the achievements of Shaanxi's elderly care industry.

At the end of 2024, Yangling issued a list of 29 basic elderly care services, fully implemented various elderly care service policies, processed preferential treatment certificates for 1496 elderly people over the age of 65, provided free public transportation services for more than 1 million people over the age of 65 every year, and only issued 371520 yuan in special family planning assistance subsidies for 25 households and 34 people in 2024.

At the same time, the upgrading and renovation project of old residential areas has been implemented. The exterior walls of the residential areas of Chunyuan, Qiuyuan, Fangyuan, and Xinongbei campuses have been repainted and renovated. Elevators have been installed in some buildings, and fitness equipment for the elderly has been installed in urban public activity areas. Elderly sports instructors have been selected from residential areas, and volunteer service teams for elderly care have been formed in each community. Regular elderly care activities are carried out based on rural happy homes and community day care centers.

Community canteens have been built in six communities including Sunshine, Xiyuan, Dongyuan, Yong'an, Taidong, and Liangshiyao. Three Love Attachment Stations have been built in Sunshine, Liangshiyao, and Gongyuan Road. Two community senior colleges have been established in Liangshiyao and Sunshine communities. The community elderly care service environment has been significantly improved, and the atmosphere of respecting the elderly in the whole society has become stronger.
