After three rounds of cultivation, the Xi'an International Elderly Care Industry Expo (referred to as Xi'an Elderly Care Expo) has continuously increased its industrial agglomeration, industry influence, and public reputation. It has become an important platform for Shaanxi and Xi'an to showcase the high-quality development achievements of elderly care services, introduce advanced elderly care service concepts at home and abroad, and promote elderly care products and service consumption.

The 4th Xi'an Old Expo is jointly hosted by the Xi'an Municipal People's Government and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, and will be held grandly at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center from September 17-19, 2026. The exhibition, with the theme of "Qin style Silver Age, Yi Yang Chang'an", will comprehensively upgrade and expand, and build an industry platform that integrates fruit display, commercial cooperation, technological innovation, and public welfare for the benefit of the people. It will continue to polish the brand of the elderly care industry exhibition based in Shaanxi, radiating to the northwest, and facing the whole country.

The matrix layout of the exhibition area covers the entire elderly care industry chain

The planning of this year's Xi'an Laobo Exhibition Area adopts a matrix layout of "1 achievement exhibition area+9 professional exhibition areas+4 characteristic exhibition areas+4 public welfare exhibition areas", with an exhibition area of 40000 square meters, expected to attract more than 500 domestic and foreign enterprises and institutions to participate in the exhibition.

The achievement exhibition area, also known as the "Shaanxi Three Year Elderly Care Achievement Exhibition", will showcase the practical achievements of various cities in the construction of elderly care service systems, the development of elderly care undertakings, and the cultivation of silver hair industries in the past three years, and simultaneously release special plans for elderly care industries in various regions;

Nine professional exhibition areas cover core business formats such as elderly care services, smart elderly care, elderly friendly facilities, health and wellness travel, medical and rehabilitation, and elderly care finance;

Four characteristic exhibition areas focus on innovation and benefiting the people, including the Silver Hair Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Achievement Exhibition, Provincial Silver Hair Industry Catalog Enterprise Exhibition, Welfare Lottery Industry Exhibition, and the "Mid Autumn Festival · Silver Age Gathering";

Four public welfare exhibition areas are set up to support the recruitment of silver talents, elderly calligraphy and painting, non heritage cultural and creative industries, and business association public welfare exhibition areas.

The internationalization level of this exhibition has been further enhanced, and professional exhibition groups from multiple countries such as South Korea and Australia will participate in groups to showcase cutting-edge elderly care technologies and products. Special activities set up platforms to promote industrial exchange and docking

During the exhibition, there will be an opening ceremony, keynote meetings, and more than ten special conferences and featured events. On the morning of September 17th, the opening ceremony, museum tour exchange, and business docking will be held. In the afternoon of the same day, a keynote meeting will be held, focusing on topics such as national macro policy interpretation, cutting-edge smart elderly care technology, innovation in elderly care finance, and service model transformation.

The supporting activities feature a variety of highlights, including the "Yiyang Chang'an" Travel and Elderly Care Cooperation Exchange Conference, the National Rehabilitation Assistive Equipment Industry High Quality Development Exchange Conference, the Elderly Finance Matchmaking Conference, the Suzhou Shaanxi Cooperation Industry Exchange Conference, the Elderly Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Roadshow, the Shaanxi Silver Hair Economy High Quality Development Forum, the Industry Education Integration Dialogue Conference, and other special events. Three level linkage service sinking, aging friendly exhibition, warming people's hearts

To extend exhibition resources to the elderly, the Xi'an Civil Affairs Bureau has established a three-level linkage model of "Annual Elderly Expo+Quarterly Silver Age Gathering+Normalized Community Market". In the first half of this year, two themed silver age exhibitions were held to welcome the Chinese New Year and the Dragon Boat Festival. Through the silver age exhibitions, high-quality elderly friendly and smart elderly care products were moved to urban citizen squares and convenient commercial areas. On site display and experience of products, interpretation of elderly care policies, and expert health consultations were set up.

This exhibition has launched two aging friendly service measures for the first time: seniors over 60 years old can use a dedicated green channel and enter quickly without online registration and verification; Establish a volunteer team for the "Silver Age Action" and have volunteers of the same age provide warm guidance and assistance throughout the entire process.

At the exhibition site, special sections such as Silver Age Product Experience, Cultural and Tourism Promotion, and Golden Wedding Experience will be set up. A joint exhibition area for star rated elderly care institutions in Xi'an will be set up to provide one-stop elderly care policy consultation and health consultation services.

Using exhibitions as an important lever to promote the implementation of elderly care planning

The Department of Civil Affairs of Shaanxi Province will use this year's Old Age Expo as a starting point to promote the implementation of Shaanxi Province's "15th Five Year Plan" for the elderly. It will make efforts in three aspects: first, strengthen the publicity and implementation of planning policies, rely on the three-year achievement exhibition area and special conference system to interpret the key tasks of the plan, and enable policy dividends to directly reach enterprises and the public; The second is to build an industry collaboration platform, leveraging nine major professional exhibition areas and various docking activities to promote the agglomeration and development of smart elderly care, medical and health care, elderly care finance and other business formats; The third is to establish a sound long-term promotion mechanism, collect industry demands through exhibitions, and dynamically optimize supporting policies. By 2030, the proportion of nursing beds in elderly care institutions in the province will reach over 70%, and no less than 60% of the welfare lottery public welfare funds will be used for elderly care services.
