Macao is one of the regions with the lowest fertility rate in the world. The average life expectancy is 84.51 years old, ranking fourth in the world, with a total population of 65.31%, and the proportion of the elderly population is 10.5%. Lack of land resources, high property prices and insufficient living space, Macao's pension products and pension service supply depend heavily on imports. Guangdong relies on its unique geographical advantages and has sufficient land and human resources. The concept of old-age services, old-age service technology and experience are in line with Hong Kong and Macao, with complementary advantages and resources. The opening of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Bridge has brought the links between Macao and Guangdong closer. The “Northern Pension” has become the “best” choice and retreat for the Macao government and the public to solve the aged care service.

In order to actively respond to the aging trend of Macao's population, the 2019 Elderly Life and Accessories Exhibition organized by the Macao Carers' Association will be held on March 8-10, 2019 at the Tashi Gymnasium in Macau.

During the exhibition, the Organizing Committee of China International Elderly Health Industry Expo (EldExpo) will cooperate with the Macao Carers' Association, Guangdong Province and Guangzhou related pension associations to organize the heads of related enterprises and institutions in Guangdong Province and Guangzhou to the exhibition. Visiting and purchasing, and organizing a field visit to the Macao Pension Health Project to build a platform for the cooperation between the Guangdong and Macao elderly medical care, elderly care, assistive devices and related services, and promote the development of the aged health industry.0001.png

Subsidy payment method:

Proof of identity documents, boarding pass (original), ticket, ticket and proof of check-in and receipt issued by the hotel shall be submitted and verified by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.

Note: The subsidy quota is limited to the top 30 (each company can apply for up to 2 people). EldExpo Old Expo Exhibitors and Guangdong Aging Industry Association, Guangdong Pension Service Industry Association, Guangdong Home Care Service Association, and Guangzhou Pension Service Industry Association are preferred!
