On August 16th, the preparatory meeting for the 7th Guangzhou Laobo Exhibition was held at the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau. Yi Lihua, the second level inspector of the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, Guan Jiejun, the director of the Elderly Care Service Department of the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, Wu Mingshun, the first level researcher of the Elderly Care Service Department of the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, Yan Fuchang, the deputy director of the Elderly Care Service Department of the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, Deng Shixian, the director of the Guangzhou Family Economic Verification and Elderly Care Service Guidance Center, He Lili, the deputy director, Wang Lijun, the president of the Guangzhou Social Welfare and Elderly Care Service Association, and Huang Yanbing, the executive vice president, Zheng Fu, the person in charge of the Executive Committee of EE Guangzhou Old Expo, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the inspector of Yilihua emphasized that as an important part of promoting the elderly care service work in Guangzhou, the Guangzhou Elderly Care Expo should do a good job in the preparation work of the Expo with higher standards this year, promote the upgrading of this year's Expo, create new achievements, and promote the creation of a national demonstration and leading model for the elderly care Expo in Guangzhou. At the opening ceremony of this year's Old World Expo, more heavyweight leaders and guests will attend to witness the promotion and upgrading of the grand event together.

At this year's Old World Expo, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau has sent a letter inviting civil affairs bureaus from all over the country to visit and exchange ideas. Currently, it has been confirmed that civil affairs departments and bureaus of provinces and municipalities such as Hainan, Shaanxi, Anhui, and Tianjin, as well as more than 70 cities and counties under their jurisdiction, including Taiyuan, Ma'anshan, Hefei, Huai'an, Longyan, Zhangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Luoyang, Yiyang, Huizhou, Jiangmen, and Zhaoqing, will attend the conference and organize community service centers Welfare homes, elderly apartments, nursing homes, nursing homes, nursing homes, health and wellness centers, elderly care service institutions and other institutions will participate in the meeting, and the civil affairs bureaus of various districts in Guangzhou will also participate in the exchange. Yi Lihua's inspector also emphasized that the Old World Expo needs to do a good job in receiving visiting units/institutions to promote efficient communication and interaction among all units.

This year's Old World Expo will be held grandly from August 25th to 27th in Zone A of the Canton Fair Exhibition Hall. At present, various work at the exhibition is steadily advancing.
