On April 22, 2026, the Guangzhou Silver Hair Economy Investment Promotion (Huangpu) and the 2nd Guangzhou Smart Health Care (Suitable for the Elderly) Equipment Innovation Design Competition were successfully held at the Silver Hair Chain Global Selection Center (Junheng Square) in Huangpu District.

At the event, Zheng Fu, the person in charge of the China International Elderly Care and Health Industry Expo, the general manager of Guangdong Kuaicai Exhibition Co., Ltd., and the president of Guangdong Yinling Health Industry Co., Ltd., officially released the 10th anniversary strategy of the China (Guangzhou) International Elderly Care and Health Industry Expo (referred to as "Guangzhou Elderly Expo"), clarifying that the exhibition will grandly kick off on August 21-23, 2026 at the China Import and Export Commodity Trading Exhibition Center, with the theme of "Picking up Light and Sharing the Chain, Silver Hair New Ecology", comprehensively upgrading and building a benchmark platform for the silver hair economy and ecological industry in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

The Guangzhou Elderly Expo is the 34th professional exhibition of the Guangzhou Expo hosted by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government. It has been successfully held for nine sessions and is the first professional exhibition in the elderly care and health industry in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area to be certified by the International Exhibition Industry Association (UFI). It has attracted over 4000 brand exhibitors and more than 1 million visitors for procurement, ranking first in the elderly care exhibition in the Bay Area and among the top in the country. This year's Old Expo coincides with its 10th anniversary and is hosted by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government.
